March is for Birthdays

Half the family was born in March, yes 3 birthdays this month.

First is Camden! He is now FIVE!

Since his birthday was a Thursday he got spend a few hours with his preschool friends. He was so excited to bring them little goodie bags we put together with some treats and toys. They were celebrating Dr. Suess birthday in preschool, so it was even more special with watching The Lorax. He said he had the best time ever!

He received fun gifts but his favorite would be the presents from his best friend Paisley. It's the cutest friendship ever, and we hope some day my best friend and I can be in laws. 😂 Every parents dream right?

We had ate chocolate cupcakes with his special request of maple frosting. Which turns out even though he loved it, didn't want that on his cupcake. Knowing my kids I already had chocolate frosting on hand.

He is the sweetest, most helpful caring little boy I've ever known. He has so much love to give and he is going to do great things in his life.  He's excited to start kindergarten in July and is ready to be a super big kid at school.

I've been a Mom for a decade

Sometimes I don't feel old, and then today I woke up with a 10 year old daughter. Yeah I feel slightly old now.

How quickly 10 years has flown.  Evelyn has grown into a unique and beautiful young lady. To tell you the truth, its kinda scaring me a little. I don't know what lies ahead but I know it will be full of fun, interesting, amazing adventures with this girl. 💗

I am so on the ball: December [one]

Let's get this ball rolling a little bit and back track a few months so I can get caught up and not feel so bad about it.

December:

Breakfast with Santa event with East Valley Moms Blog

Amelia turned 7

Holiday Concerts

Student of the month award

Christmas

Family Reunion (Chris's side)

It was a busy month. I wasn't really into Christmas this year, I was over it before it began, but I still tried to make it as magical as I could for my kids.

Anyway, lets begin

BWS & Amelia's birthday fell on the same day this year. Bummer, but thankfully it was a morning gig and we had a party planned for later that day. I was so tired by the end of the day but it was a fun day and Amelia said it was the best birthday ever. :)

Amelia wanted a cat theme birthday.  I made a cat pinata that was difficult to break and kept falling off the string.  Gold fish and swedish fish for cat treats. I made fun little cat treat bags(i guess i forgot to take a pic of them).  Played a few games, pin the tail on ms. kitty, and yard ball toss. It was a fun little party and it really made her happy and smile.
