sick

when the momma is sick. everything pretty much shuts down.

i'm going on a week of being sick and i just want to punch a baby deer. i am so over it!

dear doctor guy

-yes i can get plenty of fluids. i drink a gallon of water a day already.

-yes i can only take tylenol. no brainer.

-extra rest you say? uhhhhh what is rest?

-oh so you are saying i could be sick for another week. you may want to walk away now before i find a sharp object and stab you with it.

bbghcoincidence the day i kick soda infogcgffxg """,",,""",,""",,,," the butt and say goodbye to it i get a seriously awful head cold. really?! it's been since friday and i'm so done with it. get out of my life stupid cold!!
this was supposed to be fun, but this cold is making it simply lame.

You want to kick diet soda?
Don't clean your toilet bowl for two weeks.
STAY WITH ME.
Let it get that gross ring around the toilet, that we only see in Walmart and Gas Station bathrooms...
Then. Take a Glass of your precious Diet Dr. Pepper.
Pour it in the toilet bowl and let it sit for 5 minutes.
THEN FLUSH.

Once you see how crystal clean your toilet will be...
You'll never drink another sip.

i kinda already knew this in a way. you know the whole pour a can of coke on a battery and watch is clean that sucker up.

i guess i just needed someone else to tell me something sick nasty and i would be cured!

alive....sort of

well, i made it through the weekend, not completely smooth though. wow.(this is a long one....i apologize I'm usually not this wordy)
Lets begin.

Right before bed Friday night Amelia threw up. It was sad :( So we knew that we would be getting up a few times in the middle of the night to help her.  Well little did we know that Amelia would think it would be a good idea to walk on over to Evelyn's bed and throw up on HER! So of course Evelyn and her gag reflexes had to kick in and she got sick too. Ugh.

I didn't get much sleep that night and i had to get up early to go to the store and clean before i left at 11.  Oh boy, so i started the wash, went to the store, got home, cleaned, Chris had to work on the back yard get it cleaned up, then i finally left to my Grandparents 60th Wedding Anniversary Party.

I love my family. We are a bunch of crazy Crandell's.  I didn't get to stay very long, but it was great to see some cousins, aunts and uncles, that i haven't seen in a long time.  I love it when family's can get together. So FUN.

I left and finally got home around 2ish. immediately started cleaning and getting things ready for a little McClellan family get together that was happening at my house that night.  Party started around 5ish and the house was packed.  i hope everyone had a great time. a lot of yummy food, fun, and just a good time, i think, i was running around, i think i sat down for 5 minutes tops just to eat a few bites of food.

The sad part is i think we got everyone sick.  I disinfected the entire house over and over again, every toy, nook and cranny, just in case my kids had something more than a weak stomach and tiredness, cause sometimes that's all it is, so i wanted to be safe.  I guess i was in the air too much cause almost everyone that went to the party has gotten sick.  I feel like a jerk, UGH!!

But my Sunday that was supposed to be spend recovering was spent in bed all day with a bad case of the flu or something.  Oh my goodness, i haven't been that sick for awhile, i guess it was my time. I'm finally starting to feel better today. Thank goodness, but now my sweet husband who took care of me all day yesterday is in our room laying in bed with the same thing.

Our house is in lock down for the next couple of days. So i will try to recover more today and hopefully all this sickness is behind us, cause Chris and i have a big day coming up this week and we can not be sick! 

We are celebrating our 5 year anniversary Thursday! AHHH!! madness i tell you! :)

people of walmart

i have a story of a person you will not see on the website people of walmart.

it starts with last night...

around 9ish i was getting in bed (yes super early i know, i had a headache and decided to turn in early) when evelyn started to call my name.  i peek in and she is still sleeping so i go back to bed. About 20 mintues later she is standing next to me crying. I got up, brought her back to bed and asked her is she needed anything. (all the while i'm trying not to wake up the sleeping toddler inches away from me) she started complaining, i need medicine, so i check her head, ON FIRE, i feel her arms & legs, ON FIRE! uhh holy crap, so i get her cold water, a cold washcloth and some medicine. she wouldn't let me leave so i stayed with her for a couple hours till she was out. 

5:45am-  i get woken up by the little amelia going through my things on my side tale (its not even a table, it's a cardboard box, i'm cool). really amelia!? okay i get up turn a movie on, and go back to my bed. 10 minutes later evelyn comes screaming at me "i gotta throw up mom!" so we make it to the bathroom. she's freaking out. i got all the bed things and took her to the couch to watch the movie with sister. (who by the way is back asleep and now snoring)

I just want to go back to sleep, but i realize i have nothing to give my sick child. no crackers or special drinks. ugh. so i drive off to walmart at 6:30am.

first off i now know what its like to be in a fully stocked walmart. never seen it. it was awesome!  so i get all my things and i'm leaving, when the nicest greeter came up to me.  She had the biggest smile on her face and she waved and wished me a wonderful day.

WHAT?! I felt like i had just met Marty!  Just that simple smile and wave honestly made me feel better.  It could still be a great day even though my kid is sick. And it has been a great day.

Why can't people just smile more? I think it would make a big difference. 

Thats my story for the day. I hope you smile at someone today.  It might make someones life that much better. :)

so i took a little break. whatcha gonna do?

well i guess it may not have been a "break" really, but lets just say i did. coolness.  my offspring have been sick this past week so they needed some tlc from momma. 

they seem to be sick a lot. hmmmm....maybe its because my oldest sneaks spoonfuls of chocolate frosting from the fridge and my two little chicklets devourer (is that even how you spell this?even with spell check i don't know) it with little evidence.

yes evelyn is rockin a hilary duff shirt, and no i never clothe my little nugget amelia, cause all that chocolate on her chest would have been a clean shirt now ruined.
and i'm serisouly feeling some love from my western indian couches right now. yeah that how i roll, free stuff.
oh and have i mentioned how incredibly entertaining my children are?
