unicorn for the win

yesterday was an all around crazy day.

it was supposed to be a much more exciting day for sure.  i woke up feeling excited and totally ready for what this day ment for me! then some jack butt had to be evil and change the lives of so many families. so ubelieveably sad. but i will not live in fear, what kind of life would i be able to have, especially for my children, if i was fearful of the things that happened in the world.


the let's make a deal episode was supposed to air yesterday but i didn't get to see it on tv because of the news coverage happening yesterday. i was worried that it wasn't going to happen at all. if it doesn't air it pretty much didn't happen. so i was pretty bummed about that. found out later that a few stated did have it on so yay it happened, so it was only a matter of time before it was posted online.

i've been waiting for this day for 3 months. 3 months of secrets is pure torture!! TORTURE i tell you.

Five

Today we are celebrating, and remembering the past 5 years.

On this day on 2006 i was wed to my husband for this life and the eternities.

It was exciting and fun. The planning, the dress, the festivities, but i didn't really care all that much about it.  I've never been one for a big hoopla or being the center of attention, don't get me wrong i love me a good party (and planning for other people, not for me), and the reception seemed to be great, but i just wanted to get married and start my life.

I was looking forward to being a wife, having children, having a little family of my own. It's what i wanted, and it's what i have.

These past five years have given me so many wonderful things, and i hope i was able to return the favor too.

5 reason why i love you:

•  you always know how to make me laugh.
•  you tell me everyday that you love me.
•  you check up on me to see if i'm doing okay.
•  you listen to what i have to say.
•  you tell long, complicated stories and i don't think you realize how long they really are. it's cute & i laugh :)

i feel like i've won the lottery today!  i seriously just rolled out of bed and it's already the greatest day ever!


-my children found some chocolate bars in the fridge for breakfast! hahaha  i come out and amelia is covered in chocolate. i ask evelyn is she found the candy in the fridge she just smiles and give me her logic of why they needed to eat them. "momma, two candy's, ::pointing to herself and amelia:: One, two! FOR US MOM!" i just laughed and they laughed with me. :]



-i got two blogger awards! uhhhh what! so cool. I got nominated from the ever so sweet Kateri Von Steal.  She always leaves me the greatest comments and i love reading her blog. you should read too its great.  I'll get a more detailed post with the awards a little later. :] so cool! thank you!



-i have my first guest post ever at my friend Darci's awesome blog Page Traveler Tales today! Check it out.  This week she is having a series of guest posts in honor of the upcoming 10th anniversary of 9/11.  It's such a wonderful idea! I can't wait to read everyone else wrote!



-only 4 more days till i leave for LA! woot woot! only 6 more days till the Ellen show!! i hope taylor Lautner is on our show. HAHAHA i would die!!! Can not wait! so excited!!
