results, woot!

so i survived shopping on friday. hahaha. i think i've mentioned this before but i'm not one to go shopping for a extended period of time. hahaha. short and sweet and i'm out, but that was not the case on friday, but i didn't really mind. it was nice.

we went to a few different store at AZ mills. what did i get?

hmmm...well, i tried on lots of shirts and a few skirts/dresses.

i ended up coming home with only 3 things, BUT very proud of my three perchases for sure!

yeah it's not that short on me i swear! did i mention im only 5'4 so this skirt goes just past my knees! hahaha. kinda glad to be a wee shorty for that skirt! it was a steal only $11 woot!

next after trying on a bunch of things at oldnavy, i walked out with nothing. i was debating on a few things but in the end, i decided to wait them out. i can always go back and get them later.


then we went to marshall's got a super trippy black and white shirt. soooo cool!

yeah see trippy! love it


then i got a wicked awesome shirt from H&M! i got to be honest i've only ever bought a pari of earrings from them, cause honestly that's what fit.  so excited that i got this shirt! husband thought it looked like curtains, hahahaha! thats okay i like my curtain/rug shirt it's awesome!

i'm trying to figure out what i like....what the crap is my style?! it's all over the place, but is that it? just a mesh of stuff..

i have no idea, i've never really thought about it!

oh and i do need some help i'm supposed to get a 'statement' necklace. something bright so if you've seen something around let me know where i can look. anything bright and fun would be great!!!

i hope i can find more things that i like and actually start to, i don't know, look put together more. that might be nice. 

just because i'm a mom doesn't mean i have to dress like one right?!

small victory

so i went to target last night with my sister. who really should be a personal shopper. i mean seriously. she knows her stuff.

anywho. i got a gift card there from my birthday so i wanted to buy something, and something good.


so we went around the store and she kept shoving shirts and things into my cart. all things i normally wouldn't try on.  it always surprises me when i actually get it on, that it does look good.

okay so i was debating on getting a skirt or jeans.


my sister took a photo of the skirt to try and convince me it actually looks good. hahaha..

 

i liked it for sure and i thought it looks great. i've never owned or wore a pencil skirt before, but i didn't get it. hahaha. if i'm still thinking about it i'll eventually go back and get it, i'm just hoping for clearance, some day.
and that shirt too. love it!!




i did end up getting a freakin great pair of jeans though.

i'm super excited about them for a few reasons:

1. i have a butt it them. and i good looking one at that too. the other pair of jeans i have are so big they were falling off and were so baggy.

2. they are more of a blue color rather than jean color.(i hope you know what i mean) getting me one step closer to owning a pair of colored jeans, hahaha.

3. they are TWO sizes smaller than what i normally would have bought. so freaking excited about that!!

not like the others.

Okay so i'm not usually the type of person that cares to accessorise any sort of outfit or look of some kind.

I'm usually trying to just barley get myself out the door, i didn't feel the need to add anything extra.
well i must admit.

I WAS WRONG.

The ONLY time i will admit i was wrong.  Please enjoy this moment in history.
Its super easy to through on a necklace or a cute pair of earrings! Who would have thought right?! Crazy talk!

My thoughts on these things changed well when my kids stopped messing with my things a bit.  So i figured now it a good time to try things out.  Oh and i happened to find some really cute stuff at this amazing store in San Diego that i got a few things at. And the best part is, if they break I'm not going to care there were only 1 dollar. That's right, the great accessory dollar store in the history of the planet!

The name is called 'Everythings a Deal' so right there should have let me know of the awesomeness i was about to witness.

I will show you some of the cute things i got. remember all one dollar people!! YES!

i got these two adorable rings.  my personal favorite in the turtle of course! i love it!

i seem to be going through an owl stage. just got with it.

            super fun earrings!

down side: the backs on these things are like and inch long.

if i hug someone my head will start bleeding from a hole puncture wound.

Still so cute and fun though!!
